Are you interested in being interviewed about your travels to Mexico?
I am currently collecting data through interviews and surveys for a research study entitled, “Creeping Utopia: Queer Women and the Political Itineraries of Tourism in Mexico.” The project explores L(G)BTQ women’s tourist practices and experiences in Mexico. Compared to gay men or cis heterosexual people, not much is known about how and why queer women engage in tourism. This study aims to counter-map L(G)BTQ women’s tourist movements to gain insight into the ways spatial engagements with globalization structure and are structured by gender in domains of sexuality, race, and political economy.
To participate in a one-on-one interview, please fill out the form below and I will follow up with you to set up a time to meet. Interviews will last 15-30 minutes.
